Los Angeles, CA, September 1, 2017 - Alternative Dream Pop artist Diana Ebe has released her latest single “Bold." The independent singer/songwriter showcases her lush vocals amidst an emotional whirlwind of beats, harmonies and lyrics that center on the feelings of a failed love.
The song opens in a perfectly cinematic way, weaving through an airy verse that shines light into heartbreak and the introspection that comes in the aftermath of love and being loved.
“Bold” was recorded at Cold Pressed Studios and produced by Diana Ebe, Moose and Lucas Bomeny. The "Bold" music video was produced and directed by Norwegian twin sisters Mariel and Marita Gomsrud of For Love Productions.
Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, Diana Ebe studied music at a young age starting with piano and short after began singing and then moving on to songwriting and performance. Ebe left Sweden and a modeling career and relocated to Los Angeles in 2013 where she naturally fell into pursuing music. Shortly after relocating to California, Ebe wrote her first single, “Elusive Pleasure” and has been producing new music ever since. “Bold” is her second single from the 'Elusive Pleasure' EP. Inspired by nature’s powers, daydreams, lust and love, Ebe’s music has been described as “…haunting and ethereal…” by The Revue.
The EP 'Elusive Pleasure' is available on iTunes and on Spotify and SoundCloud. The EP is packed with evocative synth melodies and haunting tales of heartbreak, all written 100% by Diana except for the Little Dragon cover "Twice." 'Elusive Pleasure' is a powerful statement of beauty with charm and allure.
The EP's title track and first single, "Elusive Pleasure", is about waking up to the reality that your relationship is no longer working out. The song is beautiful, with a chorus that will stick with you immediately. Another song on the EP that stands out, is "Chasing," with a stirring hook showcasing Ms. Ebe's pop sensibility.
With a dreamy, atmospheric sound akin to acts like Lorde and Lykke Li, Diana Ebe's music is inspired by daydreams, lust and love. Her music has already caught the attention of notable taste makers and legendary artists, including Robby Krieger of The Doors.
Diana Ebe was raised in Stockholm, Sweden, home to some of the top worldwide artists in popular music from the 1970's to today, including ABBA, Roxette, Europe, Ace of Base, The Cardigans, Robyn, Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, Icona Pop, Tove Lo, Lykke Li and Zara Larsson, plus of course Max Martin, the most successful pop music producer and songwriter worldwide for almost two decades.
Shortly after relocating to Los Angeles, Diana wrote her first single "Elusive Pleasure." She has been writing and recording new music ever since.
In today's world of songwriting collaborations, with the number of writers on a pop song often exceeding five or even ten, Diana's debut EP is very impressive in the sense that she wrote every single song except for one by herself.
