Sermstyle continues to be one of the most prolific record producers in the business. His latest achievement is his Latin GRAMMY ® - nomination for "Hey Ma" from the soundtrack to the 2017 hit movie 'Fate of the Furious.'
GRAMMY ® - nominated Jamie Sanderson a/k/a Sermstyle comes from the small town of South Shields in Northern England (almost 5 miles downstream from Newcastle). He gained music industry attention through social media by using Twitter, and achieved his first placement with Young Buck in 2010. Sermstyle continued to land new records with many artists including Demi Lovato, Sean Paul, Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Kid Ink and many more.
Building on his urban background, Sermstyle began to shift his focus to popular music by placing a record with Wisin & Yandel on their #1 Latin GRAMMY ® -nominated album 'Lideres.'
In 2013, Sermstyle signed with Mike Caren's Artist Publishing Group.
Sermstyle co-wrote and produced Pitbull’s Billboard number 1 megahit “Timber” ft. Ke$ha. Sermstyle received an ASCAP Pop Music Award for "Timber" at the 32nd Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards.
Sermstyle also produced the number 1 UK urban record "How I Feel" by Flo Rida.
In 2015, he produced the theme song for the Furious 7 soundtrack, “Ride Out”, performed by Kid Ink, Tyga, YG, Wale, and Rich Homie Quan, and the 'Furious 7' original soundtrack album went to number 1 on the Billboard album chart.
In 2017, Sermstyle was at it again with the Fast And The Furious franchise, co-writing and co-producing the GRAMMY ® - nominated single "Hey Ma" by Pitbull and J Ballin ft. Camila Cabello.
Sermstyle also co-wrote and produced the single "I Don't Like It, I Love It" by Flo Rida ft. Robin Thicke & Verdine White.
Recently, he has had cuts with Capital Cities ("Vowels") and the Sean Paul/Dua Lipa hit single "No Lie."
Demi Lovato has included Sermstyle's "Cry Baby" on her album 'Tell Me You Love Me' released on September 29, 2017.
